Opinion| Mark Sidney| I’ve heard it said that you can tell a lot about a man by the friends he keeps and the enemies he has made.
The reasons America elected Donald Trump are too numerous to list here.
We elected Trump because we were sick of both political parties. Democrats and most Republicans quit working to preserve our rights under the Constitution decades ago.
We were sick of our politicians being bought and sold by corporations and foreign powers.
We were sick of American jobs being shipped overseas.
We were sick and tired of a lot of things, perhaps most of all, the endless wars overseas which left us with dead sons and daughters, trillions in debt and weaker as a nation, on the doorstep of financial ruin and gl0baliam.
So, when the men responsible for getting us into, prolonging, and even expanding these wars, come out against President Trump … they are not really making the compelling case they think they are making.
Today there is speculation from the Daily Caller, a Facebook Fact Checking Partner, that George Bush is not going to vote for Trump:
‘Former Republican President George W. Bush is reportedly not supporting President Donald Trump for reelection in 2020, people familiar with his thinking told the New York Times.
Bush is just one of many well-known Republican politicians who do not plan to vote for Trump, the NYT reported. Bush’s brother, former Republican Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, is reportedly on the fence regarding who he will give his vote to, people familiar with his thinking noted, according to the NYT.’
The DC went on to explain that Bush’s front man for the more than likely, IMHO, illegal, and definitely immoral and horrendous, Iraq war, Obama supporter, Colin Powell does not seem to be backing Trump either:
‘Other Republicans who reportedly won’t be voting for Trump this year include Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, Arizona Sen. John McCain’s widow Cindy McCain, and former Secretary of State Colin Powell, the NYT reported. Powell has been vocal about not backing the current president, saying on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday that he “cannot in any way support President Trump this year.”
Yahoo News had more:
‘The former Secretary of State — who served under three Republican presidents but who has also supported Democrats — slammed Trump, 73, on Sunday while throwing his support behind Biden, 77, during an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on State of the Union.’
So, the people who have been running our nation into the ground for the last few decades are lining up against President Trump … Hello! This is why we elected Trump, because we know he is your enemy and you are scared of him because he truly wants to hold your feet to the fire for selling out children’s’ future down the river!
Of course President Trump said it better than I could when he destroyed Colin on Twitter:
President Trump: Colin Powell, a real stiff who was very responsible for getting us into the disastrous Middle East Wars, just announced he will be voting for another stiff, Sleepy Joe Biden. Didn’t Powell say that Iraq had “weapons of mass destruction?” They didn’t, but off we went to WAR!

George W. Bush Spox Says NYT Article Claiming He Won’t Be Voting For Trump ‘Is Completely Made Up’
‘Former President George W. Bush’s spokesman vehemently denied an article from the New York Times that alleged he would not be voting for President Donald Trump in 2020.
The NYT reported Saturday that a slew of high-profile Republicans do not plan on supporting Trump’s reelection. Included in that list was Bush, and the NYT cited “people familiar with their thinking.”
“This is completely made up,” Bush’s spokesman Freddy Ford said in an email according to the Texas Tribune. “He is retired from presidential politics and has not indicated how he will vote.” ‘
