 He walked the halls of Congress with a quick gait, sure of where he was going and not later. He was tall, slim, silver-haired, bespectacles, and bow-tied. Tom Bliley served as the House Committee on Commerce’s chairman from 1995 to 1999. Lately, Mr. Bliley passed away. To say that Chairman Bliley was a master would be an understatement. He walked the halls of Congress with a quick gait, sure of where he was going and not later. He was tall, slim, silver-haired, bespectacles, and bow-tied. From 1995 to 1999, he served as Tom Bliley’s chairman of the House Committee on Commerce. Mr. Bliley just passed away.
