Max Miller, a Republican Representative from Ohio, made the allegation shortly before Santos’ expulsion from Congress.

Santos of New York is not a part of the U.S. House of Representatives as of Friday.
As of Friday, George Santos from New York is no longer a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, according to the Associated Press. Rep. Santos is no longer part of the U.S. House of Representatives. Santo’s alleged malfeasance,” Miller said in a statement.

Max Miller (R-Ohio) asserted that his and his mother’s credit card details had been taken from them by his former Republican partner George Santos, with the aim of injecting illicit funds into his political crusade. He declared, “Yesterday evening during the floor sitting, I made a reference to the personal consequences linked to the suggested misdeeds of Rep. Santos.” On Friday, Santos was kicked out of the U.S. House of Representatives after being accused. In a note sent to colleagues on Friday, Miller expressed his opinion on Santos’ behaviour. It was recently revealed to me that the Santos campaign had used my and my mother’s personal credit cards to contribute more than the Federal Election Commission permits. My mother and I neither gave the okay to these charges nor had any knowledge of them. We have exhausted a huge amount of money on legal charges due to the resulting fallout. This letter claims that Miller has been made aware of a roster of 400 individuals that Santos aimed to swindle through his campaign. He went on to say that he thought that others at the conference had gone through a similar situation to himself. Prior to this Miller had accused Santos on the House floor, declaring him a thief, although the particulars were not stated. Miller was alluding to the fact that he too had been a victim of Santos’s actions.
