Congress’s watchdog offers a test for Republicans

To prove that he is against wasteful government spending, he should use Congress’ oversight, legislative and budgetary powers to force federal agencies to follow GAO’s recommendations and save taxpayer money.

 He should be at the top of his list to demonstrate that he is opposed to useless government excess by using Congress ‘ oversight, legislative, and appropriations powers to force federal agencies to heed GAO’s advice and save the American taxpayer money. To demonstrate that he is opposed to useless government excess, GAO should be at the top of his list. He should use Congress’s oversight, parliamentary, and appropriations powers to force governmental agencies to follow his recommendations and save the American taxpayer money.
