On MSNBC on Friday, Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) accused President Donald Trump of jabbing at black Americans by planning his upcoming rally in Tulsa, OK, on June 19, which is Juneteenth, a holiday that marks the end of slavery.
The most misnamed cable news host, Joy Reid, stated, “It’s rather pointed that one of the rallies he’s choosing to do is in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a state that is not in contention, he doesn’t need to sway votes there. He’s going to win that state, and he’s doing it on Juneteenth. It is a pointed decision. What do you make of it?”
Maxine Waters said, “Well, you know, he’s such a dishonorable man. When he has an opportunity to basically undermine or harm or pay somebody back, he does it, and he’s not ashamed of that. And this has been his MO ever since he’s been elected. So you know Juneteenth, June 19, it is a day that we celebrate because that’s the time that we actually got the message, the information that the slaves had been freed. And, so, it’s a jab at us. It is like the president who has talked about our districts, called them rat holes, talked about the shit holes in terms of, you know, black countries, et cetera. This is another way to poke fun at us and to dishonor what we care about.”
All I can say about Low IQ Maxine is that it’s amazing how the mind of an idiot functions.
Oklahoma is the perfect setting to restart MAGA rallies, even if Waters and Reid can’t figure it out. We don’t need the approval of anyone on the Left to celebrate greatness.
What many don’t know, because the Democratic Party has done its level best to cover up any of their culpability in the matter, is that in the early 1900s, the Greenwood section of Tulsa, Oklahoma was known as “Black Wall Street,” where black Americans thrived and flourished in a self-contained hub that boasted luxury shops, restaurants, movie theaters, a library, pool halls, nightclubs and more.
Everyone who lived in Black Wall Street had a job. Everyone owned a home. And get this, back in the early 1900s, everyone living in Black Wall Street owned a car.
Many economic historians would point out that Black Wall Street in many ways surpassed Wall Street in New York.
O.W. Gurley was a wealthy black landowner. He bought 40 acres of land in Tulsa, and he named it Greenwood after a town in Mississippi.
“Gurley is credited with having the first black business in Greenwood in 1906,” says Hannibal Johnson, author of Black Wall Street: From Riot to Renaissance in Tulsa’s Historic Greenwood District. “He had a vision to create something for black people by black people.”
Mr. Gurley first built a boarding house for black Americans. Then word began to spread about opportunities for blacks in Greenwood and they came from all around the country to Greenwood.
“O.W. Gurley would actually loan money to people who wanted to start a business,” says Kristi Williams, vice-chair of the African American Affairs Commission in Tulsa. “They actually had a system where someone who wanted to own a business could get help in doing that.”
The world was their stage. Black Wall Street was doing so well that the terrorist wing of the Democratic Party, the Ku Klux Klan, learned of their success, and massacred hundreds of innocent people in the town, except those who were able to escape, and they burned the city to the ground.
During the Tulsa Race Massacre (also known as the Tulsa Race Riot), which lasted over 18 hours from May 31-June 1, 1921, a white mob with Klansman attacked residents, homes, and businesses in the predominantly black Greenwood neighborhood. To this day the massacre is one of the worst incidents of racial violence in US history, and one of the least-known, because Democrats made sure that news reports were suppressed, despite the fact that hundreds of innocent people were killed and thousands were left homeless.
Donald Trump broke black Americans out of the dependency on the Democratic Party by removing decades of barriers that were created an implemented to intentionally keep black people down. This is why every large city run by Democrats for decades, some a hundred years, all suffer from the same problems.
Chicago, Philadelphia, Camden, Newark, Baltimore, Ferguson, Cleveland, Compton, St. Louis, etc., they all have the same exact problems: high unemployment, high drug and alcohol abuse, high government dependency, high property crime rates, large high school drop out rates, high gun violence, and it’s all because of progressive Democrats who have run these cities for decades.
That can’t be a coincidence.
This is why it is so fitting and right that Trump starts up the MAGA rallies again in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the birthplace of black economic independence in America. The president knows and has said so on many occasions, that economic freedom for black and Hispanic Americans is good for all of America, and that’s what he did prior to the Chinese virus, and when reelected in November, he will do it again. Trump will again set policies that allow ordinary people to do extraordinary things. And it’s going to be great again!
