Nutramigen powder baby formula recalled for fear of bacterial contamination

Reckitt/Mead Johnson Nutrition recalled certain batches of Nutramigen Hypoallergenic infant formula powder, a product marketed to infants with allergies to milk. Nutramigen Powder cans of 12.6 and 19 ounces sold in the United States are affected by the recall. MJN announced that the recall was a result of a “possibility” of contamination with Cronobacter.

 On Sunday, Reckitt/Mead Johnson Nutrition ( MJN) recalled a few batches of its Nutramigen Hypoallergenic Infant Formula Powder, an allergy-friendly product for young children. Nutramigen Powder 12.6 and 19.8 ounce cans sold in the US are affected by the recall.
