Ukraine racks up wins against Russia in the Black Sea

Ukraine’s counteroffensive didn’t go as planned but 2023 wasn’t a total loss in the war against Russia. Kyiv scored an important victory in the sea last year, while the world’s attention was focused on the ground movements. In the Black Sea the Ukrainian fleet forced the Russian Fleet to retreat from its historic headquarters in Sevastopol.
