Congress can improve school finance transparency 

Conservative lawmakers might have a limited interest in authorizing or expanding a federal program. But improving transparency about American education, including regarding school finances and public school spending, should be fully in line with conservatives’ broader education priorities–especially given that better information could boost support for school choice.
