According to The New York Post:
A respectable transfer ceremony honoring the three soldiers at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware was over, and the strikes started a little over an hour later.
A number of explosions in Syria that are never thought to have been caused by the American military came before the US strikes. The Pentagon, but, declined to offer any commentary on the subject.
Colonel Douglass Macgregor, who is known for his sage advice, said:
Bombing is hardly a form of diplomacy. Bombing is either a tactic nor an easy virtue signaling exercise.
Bombing is a military action. Bombing does not contain conflict, nor does it stop an adversary from taking further action.
If anything, bombing increases hostility and causes a full-fledged war. A Great Power’s descent into a self-created hell is always quick.
The descent is gradual, plodding, and yet measured, as C. S. Lewis explained, until suddenly a Great Power like the United States realizes it has greatly underestimated its adversary.
Opponents have not responded well to bullying, bribing, bombings, and sanctioning them.
Washington’s relations with the rest of the world are rapidly spiraling out of control as a result of numerous proper military failures in Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, and Ukraine.
Bombing is certainly a diplomatic tactic. Bombing is not a easy virtue signaling technique or strategy.
Bombing is a military action. Conflict does not exist when someone bombs, nor does bombing stop an adversary from taking further action.
Bombing, if anything, heightens tension and causes all-out…

The New York Post reports on:

The strikes began just a little over an hour after a dignified ceremony at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, to honor the three soldiers.
The US strikes were preceded in Syria by a series explosions that were not believed to be caused by the American military. The Pentagon, however, declined to comment.

Colonel Douglass Macgregor who is always full of wise words said:
“Bombing isn’t diplomacy.” “Bombing is not a strategy or a simple exercise of virtue signaling.”
Bombing is a war crime. Bombing is not a way to end a conflict or deter future aggression.
Bombing can actually escalate tensions and lead to a full-scale war. The descent of a Great Power into hell is never quick.
Lewis taught, the descent is gradual, plodding, even measured until suddenly a Great Power like the United States discovers it has grossly underestimated its opponent. Lewis taught that the descent is gradual and measured, but it can be a slow, plodding process.
Bullying, bribing bombing and sanctioning of opponents has not worked.
Washington’s relations with the rest is rapidly deteriorating due to a series of strategic military failures, including in Afghanistan, Libya and Iraq.

Diplomacy is not bombing. Bombing is not a strategy or a way to show off.
Bombing is a war crime. Bombing is not a way to end a conflict or deter future aggression.
Bombings can escalate tensions and lead to all-out war.
