[[{“value”:”I appreciate a reader and friend sending me this video, very much.
If you do n’t know what” Long Island Audit” is, allow me to explain. This is the most recent version.
I’ve undoubtedly audited a number of Long Islands while lounging on the sand and looking out at the water (or, hold on, perhaps those were Mai Tais )? It’s not that kind of Long Island, though, in either case.
No, these guys record interactions in public, government-owned ( public owned ) locations, frequently interacting with police who ( allegedly ) go beyond the bounds of their authority, to demonstrate to people the rights we all enjoy but have either given up on or were unaware of.
like the freedom to exist in peace in a common area!
That is imaginable!
WE THE PEOPLE are the owners of government-owned structures and locations ( such as post offices and sidewalks )!
Government simply has what it takes from the people; it owns nothing. Therefore, never forget that these are This locations and not some fictitious entity owned by” Government.”
Government exists solely to serve and safeguard WE THE PEOPLE, but it seems like virtually everyone has forgotten that.
This is why I adore watching these videos.
More information on Long Island Audit is provided here:
Sean Paul Reyes is the owner of the website and YouTube channel Long Island Audit, which specializes in First Amendment audits. These audits entail testing and recording the responses of law enforcement and government officials to people exercising their First Amendment rights, such as recording in common places. The channel’s objective is to increase public awareness of legal rights and encourage open government.
Reyes was detained for trespassing and causing a disturbance at Danbury City Hall in July 2021. Later, he was found guilty of simple trespass and given a$ 90 fine. The significance of First Amendment rights and the function of public officials in defending them have come up in conversation as a result of this incident.
On Twitter, Long Island Audit has also developed a following. A user recently shared a video of Reyes speaking with Too Apree on X ( previously Twitter ), which demonstrates the channel’s commitment to documenting interactions with public officials and encouraging open discussion about constitutional rights.
In conclusion, Sean Paul Reyes ‘ Long Island Audit is a platform that uses open engagement and First Amendment audits to increase public awareness of these rights and promote government transparency.
And now for the most recent video, which is thus excellent…
But first, a word of caution—this might make your blood boil! By the time it was over, I was about to get away and fight someone!
This man deserves a lot of praise for maintaining his composure while standing up for his rights as an American citizen.

Do You Know About A” First Amendment Audit”?
I’ve only discovered my fresh favorite!
And I’m eager to show you this.
Major shout to my friend Ted ( Hey Ted! ) for bringing this to my attention.
I find it hard to believe I did n’t know about it earlier, but since I had never seen it before, I’m assuming some of you might be as well.
It’s referred to as a First Amendment Audit and is fantastic!
In essence, this is the premise.
You are aware of how occasionally those who are given little power develop into… Nazis?
You understand what I mean, right?
the woman in charge of the post office’s counter.
The TSA agent in charge of maintaining security at the airport check-in line.
the person in charge of their window at the DMV.
And I could go on forever.
You understand.
You are familiar with them and have met them.
We all possess.
They instantly believe they are Adolph Hitler running the box cars after gaining just a tiny bit of power.
You’re not the fresh Emperor of the World; rather, you are a loser manning the checkout counter at an absurdly decorated Post Office.
Okay, let’s stop ranting.
However, we have all been there and gone through it.
And that’s how the First Amendment Audit is set up.
Although some people do them, I personally prefer the one I’m about to show you.
This man enters a post office and begins filming there.
The catch is that it is a Federal Building.
In other words, you and I own it!
WE THE PEOPLE are the owners!
Additionally, there is a sign on the wall that basically states that it is entirely legal to record videos in e-mail at the provincial Post Office.
That is what the man is doing, then.
The Karens who appear and attempt to convince him to stop, however, are unimaginable.
It’s both hilarious and frustrating.
What an excellent First Amendment lesson.
And what a great reminder that most people will use power to oppress others if it is even SMALL.
But depressing.
But it’s real.
And THAT, my friends, is the rationale behind the First Amendment.
And for that reason, this man performs” First Amendment Audits.”
I adore it.
Now take pleasure:

A reader and a friend sent me this video.
Here is the latest news from “Long Island Audit”. If you do not know what this is, let me explain.
I’ve had several Long Islands on my beach chair, overlooking the ocean. (Or wait, were those Mai Tais?) But either way, this is not the same Long Island.
These guys are filming interactions in public places that are owned by the government (publicly owned), often with police officers who (allegedly) go over the line of their authority. They do this to show people what rights we have, but have either forgotten or never even known we had.
Like the right to peacefully occupy a public place!
Imagine that!
We the people own government owned buildings and places, such as Post Offices and Sidewalks!
The government does not own anything, but only what it takes from citizens. Never forget that these places are OURS, not something imaginary owned by the “Government”.
The government exists to serve and protect WE, THE PEOPLE. It seems that almost everyone has forgotten this.
This is why I love watching these videos.

….
This could make your blood boil! I was ready to fight someone after watching this!
This guy deserves a lot of credit for remaining so calm and reassuring while standing up for his rights as an American Citizen.

Just found my new favorite!
I’m so excited to show you what I have.
A big shout out to my friend (Hey Ted!) Thanks to Ted for introducing this to me.
I’m surprised I didn’t see it before. I’m sure some of you are also new to it.
It’s called the First Amendment Audit…and is awesome!
Here’s the basic premise.
You know how some people can turn into ….Nazis when they are given a small amount of power?
You know what I’m talking about ….
The woman behind the counter at Post Office.
The TSA agent in charge of security at the airport check-in lines.
The person who runs the window at the DMV.
I could go on and on.
You get the idea.
You’ve met them before.
We have all experienced it.
When they get a little power, they think they are Adolph Hitler, back from the grave, driving the boxcars.
You’re not a new Emperor of the World. You’re just a loser who runs a checkout line at a totally messed up Post Office.
Ok, rant over.
We’ve all been through it.
This is the first step in the First Amendment Audit.
This is my favorite.
This guy enters a Post Office to start filming ….
Here’s the catch. It’s a Federal Building.
Meaning…you and me own it!
We the people own it!
It’s not only that. There’s an actual sign on the wall that says that it is legal to record video in a federal Post Office.
So, that’s the guy.
You would be amazed at the number of Karens who try to stop him.
It’s both hilarious and frustrating.
What a great lesson on the First Amendment.
What a perfect example of how, when given even a SMALL amount power, people will use it for oppression.
It’s so sad.
It’s true!
It is for this reason, my friends, that we have the First Amendment.
This is why this guy performs “First Amendment Audits”.
I love it.
