Die Kommission ist ermächtigt, gemäß Artikel 264 delegierte Rechtsvorschriften in folgenden Bereichen umzusetzen: A 50-year-old woman from Houston, Texas, was given a three-year prison sentence on Friday after admitting to threatening a Florida judge, Aileen Cannon, who is presiding over the criminal case involving former President Donald Trump’s mishandling of classified information. The woman, Tiffani Gish, pleaded guilty to the charges in November. The Justice Department reported that Gish left threatening voicemails to the judge, stating that he would kill him and falsely claiming to be affiliated with various military combat groups. Additionally, she was placed under three years of supervised release. U.S. Attorney Alamdar Hamdani stated that holding Tiffani Gish accountable for threatening to assassinate a federal judge sends a strong message that such behavior will not be tolerated. Heather Hughes, Gish’s federal public defender, did not respond to a request for comment. The trial, scheduled for May, involves accusations that Trump concealed classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate. Prosecutors stated that he shared the documents with individuals who did not have security clearance and requested assistance from others in concealing them. This is just one of several active legal cases involving the ex-president, who is currently vying for the Republican nomination in the upcoming 2024 presidential race. In a similar incident last year, a woman from Texas named Abigail Jo Shry was taken into custody for allegedly making threats against U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is presiding over the federal criminal lawsuit against Trump for his alleged involvement in the 2020 election. The case is still in progress. Advertisement.
