WATCH: Scientists Admit They’re Wrong About ‘God Particle’

[[{“value”:”The first conclusions and presumptions made by CERN researchers regarding the Higgs boson particle were incorrect, they presently admit.
The Higgs Boson particle, also referred to as the” God particle,” is the first atomic element particle to be found without an axis of rotation.
The Higgs Boson particle can possibly change into various combinations of photons and leptons upon decay, according to recent research.
The subatomic particle may decay and have a natural or the same charge, or it may result in the formation of an opposing charge.
The Secrets of the Universe, a famous science and technology YouTube channel, debunked the discovery:
According to physicist Martin Bauer, a Higgs boson can only see large fields because photons have no mass. However, according to quantum field theory, photons and large fields can interact with each other. By taking this detour, a Higgs can decompose into photons.
Since photons have no mass and the Higgs boson just sees substantial fields, it is conventionally impossible for a higgson to degenerate into photosons.
However, according to quantum field theory, it can interact with both large fields and photons.
A Higgs can decompose into photons using this detour.

CERN communicated via Physics. Org:
According to Pamela Ferrari, the physics coordinator at ATLAS,” Each particle has a unique relationship with the Higgs boson, making the search for rareHigg’s decays great priority.”
” We have made a step ahead towards solving yet another Higgs boson riddle by meticulously combining the personal results of ATLAS and CMS.”
According to Florencia Canelli, coordinator of physics at CMS,” New particles could have very important effects on unique Higgs decay modes.”
The Hadron Collider, which enabled the discovery of the Higgs Boson particle in 2012, was briefly summarized in Talkin’ About History.
In order to find the” God particle” connected to a mass-transmitting energy field, which is the key to how everything in the universe acquires mass, scientists activate the Large Hadron Collider ( measuring 17 miles ) in Geneva on September 10, 2008. Space…………………….. Com went on to explain:
Beacham continued,” The two leptons “hit our calorimeter really close to each other.”
A tool used by the LHC to stop particles from colliding with one another is the calorimeter. When these particles are stopped or “absorbed” by the tool, scientists can identify them and study them.
This innovative finding is” the first hint of evidence of this extremely rare decay mode of the Higgs boson,” according to Beacham, despite the fact that scientists had predicted that this type of decay should exist with the higgson.”}]] [[{“value”:”

Scientists at CERN have now admitted that they were wrong in their initial assumptions and findings regarding the Higgs Boson.
The Higgs boson particle, also known as the “God particle,” is the first elemental subatomic particle that scientists have found that does not spin along an axis.
Researchers have discovered that the Higgs boson particle can transform into different combinations of leptons and photons upon decay.
The subatomic particle can decay with the same charge or a neutral one, but it can also decay to produce subatomic particles with an opposite charge.
The Secrets of The Universe, a popular science and technology YouTube channel, broke down the discovery.

Martin Bauer, a physicist, explained: “Classically, a Higgs Boson cannot decay into photons. Photons have no mass and the Higgs Boson only sees massive field. In quantum field theory, it can interact massive fields that can interact with photons. “Using this detour, a Higgs could decay into photons.”

Higgs Bosons can’t decay into Photons because photons have no mass and the Higgs Boson only sees massive field.
In quantum field theory, massive fields can interact with photons.
This detour allows a Higgs to decay into photons

CERN wrote via Physics.Org.

“Each particle has an important relationship with the Higgs Boson, making the hunt for rare Higgs-decays a priority,” says ATLAS coordinator Pamela Ferrari.
“Through a meticulous combining of the individual results from ATLAS and CMS we have made another step forward in unraveling the Higgs Boson riddle.”
Florencia Caelli, CMS’s physics coordinator, says that the existence of new particles may have a very significant effect on rare Higgs-decay modes.

Talkin’ About History provided a brief summary of the Hadron Collider, which allowed for the discovery in 2012 of the Higgs boson particle.

Scientists activated the Large Hadron Collider (17 miles long) in Geneva on September 10, 2008. They were searching for the “God particle”, which was associated with a mass transmitting energy field. This field is the key to understanding how the universe gains mass. The particle was found in 2012. pic.twitter.com/u3poOAck4F

Space.Com explained in further detail:

Beacham said that the two leptons had “hit our calorimeter very close together.”
The calorimeter of the LHC is a tool used to stop particles that are emitted from a collision. Scientists can study and identify these particles after they are “absorbed” or stopped by the tool.
Beacham stated that while scientists predicted this type of decay with the Higgs Boson, the new detection is the “first hint of evidence” of this very rare mode of decay of the Higgs Boson.
