Romney also emphasized the importance of character in addition to policy when evaluating a leader. I believe that the strength and leadership of America, which has made us the most powerful nation on Earth, comes from the character of our leaders, including presidents, as well as everyday individuals like mothers, fathers, and community leaders. He stated that Trump falls far below expectations, noting that having a president with such a lack of character would significantly affect the country’s overall character. For me, that is the main factor to consider. Romney did not vote for Trump in either the 2016 or 2020 elections, and he indicated that he would likely make the same choice at the polls in November if Trump were to be the nominee. It is a clear decision for him.
