Chief Justice John Roberts has single-handedly changed our American culture. As I wrote in yesterday’s article on his vote in the Louisiana abortion case, the 65-year-old, Catholic married man, has been a huge disappointment for those who thought he would be a strong conservative vote for decades.
In light of Roberts move to the left, the 2020 elections will again include the Supreme Court as a top priority for both parties. Similar to 2016, when I and many conservatives voted for Donald Trump, hoping to get more Constitutionalists on the court, these next 4 years bring the same primary hope for the same Trump voters. President Trump kept his campaign promise with his 2 nominated judges, both confirmed by the Senate, Associate Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. A lot on the left were terrified that the court was now 5-4 conservative and ROE VS WADE was at risk, boy was everyone wrong.

John Roberts Shows Supreme Court at Stake Again in 2020 Election
Many conservatives voted for President Donald Trump in 2016 solely because the fate of the Supreme Court was at stake. They will have to do so again in 2020 because the court remains liberal, and Democrats want to pack it further.
Nominally, conservatives have a 5-4 majority, if the only consideration is the party of the president who nominated them. But Chief Justice John Roberts has repeatedly sided with the Court’s liberals, from the Obamacare decision until today.
In the last two weeks alone, Roberts has sided with the liberals in the LGTBQ discrimination case; the case blocking President Trump from rescinding DACA (for now); and now, on Monday, a case striking down a Louisiana abortion law.
Though President Trump has nominated two justices, Neli Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, to the Court, they have been unable to affect the outcome in these cases — and Gorsuch actually joined Roberts and the liberals on one occasion.
President Trump has already committed to releasing the list of potential picks he would select from, during his second term in office. If one or more Justices step down, due to illness or retirement, most on the right believe the new Justices would be of the same cloth as the previous two. The left is just as zealous to replace the probably retiring Ruth Bader Ginsburg, with another radical whose sole passion is abortion.
Millions of dollars will be spent on the 2020 election cycle, for the goal of setting the court for decades to come. With Roberts in the left column now, a Biden administration’s nominees would keep the court at 5-4 or move it to 6-3 progressive compared to a Trump second term of flipping the court back to 5-4 or 6-3 conservative with 2 vacancies. Either way, it will change our nation’s future immeasurably.
