White House ‘perplexed’ after Netanyahu cancels delegation to DC

The White House said on Monday that it was puzzled at the decision of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to cancel a meeting with a delegation in Washington, after the U.S. had abstained in a U.N. Security Council resolution calling for a Gaza cease-fire. John Kirby, national security communications advisor, said that he was “a little perplexed” by the decision.

 The White House expressed surprise over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to appoint a delegation meeting in Washington on Monday, after the United States abstained from a U.N. Security Council vote calling for a cease-fire in Gaza. Federal security communications adviser John Kirby said,” We’re kind of baffled by this,” when asked for President. After the U.S. abstained from a U.N.
