Disney’s Line-Cutting Policy Sent Us Backward

Disney implemented a system that allowed visitors with disabilities to avoid long lines. Then, the company changed its policy and made it harder for people in wheelchairs to enjoy their parks.

 Disney created a system where people with disabilities did n’t have to wait in line for so long. Therefore, the company altered its policy, making it more difficult for people with disabilities to use its parks. Disney created a system that made people with disabilities less of a line-up. Therefore the business changed, making it more difficult for people with disabilities to use its parks.

A friend in a wheelchair shared a conversation she had overheard outside the entrance of Disneyland a couple of years back. W porządku, Suzie, zgadnij co? This time, you are requesting a wheelchair. Suzie: I don’t want to request a wheelchair. Tell Billy to do it! Billy is expressing disbelief I requested a wheelchair during my previous visit. When I was a child, there were several reasons why other children were envious of me because I used a wheelchair.
