Congress is working on a federal privacy law. Here’s why we need one

As consumers, we can force companies to respect data preferences if we remain angry and continue to pay attention to the way our data is being used and abused.

 If we continue to be enraged and watch how our data is used and abused, as consumers, we have the authority to compel businesses to respect our data preferences. If we continue to be enraged and watch how our data is used and abused, as consumers, we have the authority to compel businesses to respect our data preferences.
