Diet, exercise may slow decline in some Alzheimer’s patients: Study

According to a study published in the journal Alzheimer’s Research and Therapy, a healthy diet and regular exercise may slow down the decline of some patients with early-stage Alzheimer disease. The study, which was published in the journal Alzheimer’s Research and Therapy found that patients who made “intensive” lifestyle modifications — such as eating whole foods, exercising modestly, and using stress management techniques — showed a significant improvement.
