Meanwhile, in jolly old England, they have decided to go with a new voter ID law because without it, it’s too easy to cheat.
The Queen is expected to announce the proposal almost immediately and it will take effect in all of their future elections. Isn’t that voter suppression? Because of the new proposal Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are being locked out of voting. Liberals do not believe that minorities are able to look out for themselves.
How racist.
The voter ID requirement is one of a number of voting reform proposals, and the bill will limit the number of mail-in-ballot, another area they believe is used to cheat.
The proponents of the bill claim that it will limit electoral fraud. I’ll bet you don’t read this story anywhere in the lamestream media and it won’t be on PMSDNC or CNN either. Were they inspired by their own election or ours?
The new rules will cover all UK-wide and English elections. Voters in Northern Ireland already must show identification to vote. US civil rights groups are criticizing the move, warning the Britons that it can be used to suppress the vote in that country.
In any free country, assuring that people do not vote illegally is the foundation for democracy and not the demise of it. For every illegal vote, a legal vote has been compromised. Considering all of the things you need an ID for, is it really too much to ask that everyone identifies themselves?
The difference between liberals and conservatives is liberals want every vote to count, whereas conservatives want every legal vote to count.
What prompted this move by the UK? Could it be the disastrous 2020 presidential election, which is rife with accusations of voter fraud?
In March, a Michigan judge ruled that Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, broke state law when she unilaterally changed election rules concerning absentee balloting in the 2020 election—legitimizing a key claim made by the Trump legal team in its challenges to the 2020 election. An audit of the vote in Maricopa County, Ariz., is currently underway.
Millions of voters don’t believe Joe Biden legitimately won the election. While commonsense reforms to strengthen election integrity should be a nonpartisan issue, sadly, it seems that can’t be the case. It’s nice to see the United Kingdom taking steps to ensure their elections are as secure as possible. Maybe one day the same thing can happen in the States.
