There’s nothing woke about ruling against sleep deprivation in prison

Prisons are an important part of our justice system, but their punishment should not be more than loss of freedom, and not even loss of humanity.

 Our system of justice relies heavily on prisoners, but the punishment they impose should only be that they deliver liberty and no humanity. Prisons play a crucial role in our system of justice, but the punishment they impose should only be the loss of liberty, no humanity.
