Proposing the ‘Russian Trust Fund for Ukraine’

Instead of confiscating the frozen reserves of the Russian Central Bank in order to offset political shortfalls of Western aid to Ukraine consolidate these frozen assets into a trust fund which allows Western governments to borrow on a short-term basis.

 Consolidate those frozen assets in a trust fund that enables American governments to borrow short-term loans rather than seizing the frozen foreign exchange reserves of the Russian Central Bank to make up social shortfalls in American aid to Ukraine. Consolidate those frozen assets in a trust fund that enables American governments to borrow short-term loans rather than seizing the frozen foreign exchange reserves of the Russian Central Bank to make up political shortfalls in American aid to Ukraine.
